A woman has been subjected to alleged molestation by police security guard and a complaint was sent to the office of Police Superintendent today.

According to the complaint, the incident occurred on the night of 5^th Oct at MB Hospital’s trauma ward where victim woman was caretaking her husband who was injured in a road accident whereas the accused policeman was accompanying an ailing prisoner in the same ward.

On the night of incident, the policeman allegedly misbehaved with the victim woman who was sleeping on the floor, the woman woke up due to the misconduct and raised alarm by shouting, but no action was taken against the accused that time.

After knowing the incident, congress activist Rajkumar Suhalka encouraged the victim to raise voice against the accused. Hence today, Suhalka, on behalf of the victim met senior police officer and appealed for action.

Sudhir Joshi, Additional S.P District assured quick and strict action against the accused. He said, “We will identify the accused police guard in few days and will take strict action against him.”
