Nai Police obstructed a wedding ceremony of a 16-year-old girl and handed over a written notice to the parents of the girl.

SHO Nai Police Jitendra Gangwani raided the wedding ceremony after receiving information from district magistrate. Gangwani informed that a 16-year-old girl, granddaughter of Sohanlal Prajapat was getting married to a boy from Sisarma.

The birth date of the girl is 13^th Dec 1996, by this, her age is 16 years and eleven months.

According to the Child marriage act, any person marrying before the age of 18 is prohibited.
