Udaipur Police have finally nabbed Mohammad Baksh of Udaipur, who is key accused in the murder of a Businessman, around 2 months back. He was arrested on Friday, May 22.

Udaipur Police have finally nabbed Mohammad Baksh of Udaipur, who is key accused in the murder of a Businessman, around 2 months back. He was arrested on Friday, May 22.

Mohammad Baksh of Udaipur is accused of stabbing Abdul Gaffar fatally on 4th March. Immediately after stabbing the victim, Mohammad fled away In a car with one of his associate towards Dabok.

During the last few months, Baksh stayed at various places including Jaipur,Sawaimadhopur, Ujjan, Maharastra,Ajmer and Ahmedabad, but due to shortage of money he decided to move back to Udaipur to sell his shop. In order to finalize the deal, he came to Charan Kamal Hotel situated on Ahmadabad Highway, but before he could do any thing he was spotted an nabbed on location by the Police.

Station Head Officer of Pratap Nagar police station Chandra Purohit added that on Friday morning he received a tipoff that the accused Baksh will come to a Dhaba situated at Parsad village. Acting immediately on information provided, Chandra raided the area with his team in civil dress and nabbed the accused at the Dhaba. He was then taken to the police station.

Deputy Sp Madhuri Verma said that during initial interrogation Baksh revealed that the deceased Gaffar used to visit Baksh’s house frequently in his absence. When he got information of this he got annoyed, attacked Gaffar with a knife and stabbed him to death in March, near Debari.
