In a major raid carried out today afternoon by Excise Department in Udaipur, three establishments producing fake liquor were raided, and liquor, along with other materials of preparation, were seized.

According to Police, three establishments in Eklingpura area, Sector-14 and Kavita Village were raided.

One arrest from Sector-14 was made during the raid. Prakash Jain s/o Dinesh Jain, currently, resident of Sector-14 was detained for the crime.

In total, 70 crates of fake Royal Stag, 12 crates of fake Officer’s Choice, 200 liter of Spirit, 15000 bottles of country liquor, 7000 caps of brands including, Royal Stag, Officer Choice and Mc Dowell’s, 2000 empty bottles of Royal Stag, 2000 fake labels of Royal Stag and 2000 fake Hallmarks were seized.

Also, a spirit measurement scale, 15 liter of malt, 60 liter flavor, 5 liter color and 3.5 feet deep packaging machine was also seized in the raids.

Police is now investigating the other suspects involved in this fake liquor production business.
