Dabok police seized a car carrying 72 Kg of smuggled Doda Post during a barricading at Dabok circle. Two accused were also arrested in connection to the crime however, the key accused managed to flee after a 5 Km chase.

SHO Dabok Police station Virendra Singh Ada informed that his team received tip off about a car full of Doda Post heading towards Udaipur from Chittorgarh and would pass from Dabok circle. Upon getting the information, a barricading was lodged wherein the police spotted the suspected car. However, the accused got alert and after a long chase, the driver managed to flee leaving the car on the spot.

During the barricading, the cops arrested two suspects, who in the interrogation revealed that one Arvind Tiwari was coming towards Udaipur in a Scorpio car containing smuggled Doda Post. They also added that both were escorting the smuggler upon which they were arrested and booked under various sections of NDPS ACT and IPC, police said.

The arrested accused are still under interrogation and the hunt for the key accused is still on. The car with 72 kg Doda Post has been seized by the cops.
