A truck containing Illegal liquor worth more than Rs.50 Lac was seized by the Pratapnagar Police. The action took place after the midnight of 29^th April. The truck driver and spotter fled away leaving the truck.

At around 12 am last night, the police got a tip that a truck loaded with illegal liquor was coming from the Debari side. The Police immediately lodged barricades but the suspecting truck driver saw the Police and turned the truck towards Jamar Kotra. After a 20 minute chase, the driver and spotter left the truck at Khempura Kheda and fled away.

Upon thorough checking, the Police recovered 903 cartons of Haryana made liquor from the truck.
