Police wraps-up the case of Stolen Ornaments

Police arrested a man today for buying the ornaments which were stolen, a few days ago, from a house in Hiran Magri sector-9. It was found out that the ornaments were stolen by the victim’s brother himself.

 

Police arrested a man today for buying the ornaments which were stolen, a few days ago, from a house in Hiran Magri sector-9. It was found out that the ornaments were stolen by the victim’s brother himself.

Laxmi d/o Mohan Lal Kumawat, resident of Sector 9, Hiran Magri registered a case few days back in Hiran Magri Police Station about the theft of valuable Gold and Silver Ornamets from the cupboard in her room. The ornaments were worth Rs. 3 lacs.

When the Police started investigation, the prime suspect was Laxmi’s brother Hemant. On the basis of suspicion police detained him and started the interrogation during which, he accepted to have stolen the ornaments.

Initially, police recovered all the gold ornaments except 2 silver bangles. When asking Hemant about the silver bangles, he revealed that he sold it to Yogesh s/o Sharad Jain, resident of Sector 9.

According to Police, “Yogesh was in the Udaipur Central Jail under the charges of fraud; today he was taken on protection warrant and presented in the court”.
