Bharat Nath, an absconding accused involved in Praveen Paliwal’s murder was arrested last night of 23^rd April by special team of Goverdhan Vilas Police. Bharat had allegedly provided his car to the assailants.

During search and interrogation, a pistol used in the murder was also recovered from Bharat Nath.

SHO Narpat Singh of Goverdhan Vilas Police Station informed, “Various teams of police were searching for him. Yesterday information was received that Bharat was going to enter the city through Pratap Nagar.”

During the run, initially Bharat stayed with the key accused and mastermind Naresh Harijan and later was hiding in MP.

The accused Bharat also informed the police that the gun possessed by one of the accused Chanchal Jain alias Maharaj was provided by him.

Police is now further interrogating the accused for more information related to the murder of Praveen.

Praveen Paliwal was murdered on Sunday 16^th March 2014 by four assailants. Police has arrested all the key accused involved in the day light murder.
