A 23 year old pregnant woman committed suicide by hanging herself with a sari. This incident occurred on Wednesday night where she hung herself at her in-laws’ home. She was rushed to the M.B. hospital, Udaipur by her relatives where she was declared dead.

The victim, a resident of Jogi Talab area in Goverdhan Vilas, was found hanging in her room by her in-laws and was pulled down. They rushed her to the hospital where the doctors after examining, declared her dead. Later, her parents were informed about the mishap, informed SHO, Goverdhan Vilas.

The mother of the deceased woman has demanded a thorough investigation of the case as she doubts her in-laws for the incident. The parents informed the police that the woman’s husband often had clashes with her regarding petty issues.

The deceased woman was a mother of 2 kids and was 7 months pregnant when she committed suicide, informed the woman’s brother-in-law.
