Surajpol police arrested the supplier of smack in production warrant for 2 days from Kanod sub-jail to interrogate him in the matter. The police received the information about him from the accused nabbed by them with smack on 23rd December. 

The name of the accused Azam Khan, resident of Arnod village of Pratapgarh was revealed by the duo accused Farooq alias Bhuru and Bharat who were arrested by Surajpol police on 23rd December with 25 gm of smack in their possession.

Upon receiving the information about him, the police took Azam Khan under production warrant for 2 days from Kanod sub-jail.

Azam was an under trial accused of a firing case relating to a property dispute case and was under judicial custody at Kanod sub-jail, informed SHO Surajpol police station, Ramesh Kumar.

He is booked under various sections of NDPS act. Police started interrogating him to retrieve further information about the syndicate of narcotics, Kumar added.
