A convicted prisoner who was recently sentenced to life imprisonment for murder has succeeded in breaching police security today and ran away from MB Hospital. Police has started massive manhunt to nab the accused.

A convicted prisoner who was recently sentenced to life imprisonment for murder has succeeded in breaching police security today and ran away from MB Hospital. Police has started massive manhunt to nab the accused.

The prisoner Bhairosingh Banjara (27), resident of Mavli was brought to MB Hospital for medical checkup as he has symptoms of some serious disease. Few other convicts were also there with Bhairo Singh and the team of around 10 policemen was guarding the convicts.

Bhairo Singh asked a police constable Gopal Singh for using the washroom. When Gopal Singh was escorting Bhairo to the washroom, he ranway and disappeared in the crowd.

The accused was wearing black pants and white shirt and his height is around 5.4 feet. Hathipol Police station has been informed about the incident and first, the police team has started search operation in hospital compound.

S.P Mahesh Kumar Goyal told UT that a special team is made to catch the absconding convict.

Bhairo Singh was undertrial and lodged in Udaipur Central Jail since 2012 for murder. He was recently sentenced to life imprisonment.
