A prisoner was taken on production warrant by Hiran Magri Police Station for allegedly instructing his acquaintances from Jail using cell phone. The action was taken after his name was revealed by four accused under the charges of murdering a tractor driver and looting his tractor.

Accused Narayan Meena is already lodged in Udaipur Central Jail for theft and was passing his 6 year term. Narayan instructed four people Nathu, Dharma, Maniya and Rajkumar to steal tractor and kill the tractor driver Deva Meena.

Hiran Magri Police arrested Narayan for controlling the gang from Jail and the key accused of the murder Nathu Meena.

Now Police will interrogate both accused and will find if they have committed more such crimes.

One more issue that is coming up in this case is usage of mobile phones in Jail by convicted prisoners. It is a matter of investigation that how mobile phones reach prisoners in such high security jail.
