Special Task Force and Bhopalpura Police station in a raid arrested Karan Singh, resident of Ranawato ka Guda (Dabok) with an illegal pistol in his custody.

After the tip off, the police conducted a raid on Monday evening near Bhopalpura police chowki and arrested the accused who held an illegal pistol in his possession. The cops seized the weapon and booked Karan Singh under various sections of Arms Act, said police.

During the police investigation, Karan Singh, who is a property dealer, revealed that he had bought the illegal pistol for Rs. 45,000; the reason for which is still unknown to the police.

Interrogation of the property dealer is still going on and police is expecting to get more information on the trade of illegal weapons in the city.
