Dilip Chittora (48) resident of Parsh Colony, Kalka Mata Road is admitted with critical injuries after he was attacked by two accused at Shobhagpura Road today. Prima Facie, the attack is related to a disputed property.

[UPDATE] Property dealer dies during treatment

Though names of the accused are not yet revealed, Police has identified the attackers and also detained few suspects who are said to be linked with the brutal attack.

The victim Dilip Chittora is a property dealer and owns a company Sturn Developers at University Road.

As per police, Dilip was passing through 100 ft Road Shobhagpura when two men on a bike stopped him and started arguing on some matter. Soon, one of the suspects took out pistol and fired on Chittora but he somehow saved himself. Subsequently, the attacker took out knife and stabbed Chittora several times and fled away.

Dilip Chittora received multiple wounds in abdomen, eyes and hands. He was rushed to the hospital where his condition is said to be critical.

According to sources, the matter is related to a 12 Bigha Land at Goverdhan Vilas which was under dispute. The sources also informed that there might be some ‘big’ names of the city involved in the attack.

A large number of police officials are deployed outside emergency ward of MB Hospital where Dilip Chittora is being treated.

Dilip Chittora used to own a tent business before he started dealing in lands.
