A prostitution racket has been exposed from a Hotel at Gogunda, near Udaipur yesterday.

In an operation conducted by the Udaipur Police, under DySP Ataa-ur-Rehman, DySP Swati Sharma, C.I Gogunda Police station, Anil Deol and their team, Badal Resorts was raided at Gogunda. This was done after a tip-off from an informer.

The Police have arrested 9 girls and 2 middlemen from the location. A policeman, in the guise of a customer, went into the Guest house and carried out the operation. The girls who were arrested, belong to Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Calcutta and were working as a bar girls in Mumbai.

The two middlemen, Raju Singh, resident of Ajmer and Rajesh Joshi were arrested and Mamraj Singh, owner of the Guest House was also arrested. The main accused and leader of the ring, Rahul Rawat who used to supply the girls, is on the run.

‪According to police, Rahul used to supply the girls in Udaipur and other nearby areas.
