PWD Engineer demonstrates courage against Extortionists

The engineer whose name is not disclosed due to security reasons has lodged police complaint against an unknown suspect for demanding Rs.10 Lac through a letter. The letter was dropped at A. En’s house yesterday.
The letter demanded a sum of Rs. 10 Lac as extortion money, failing which there was a threat to the lives of his children.
The unknown extortionists had asked for the bag containing the money to be dropped in a garbage container near the railway line gate in Sector 7 Hiran Magri. The letter mentions that if the police is informed it would be hazardous to his family.
The AEn, without worrying about the outcome, went to the Police station with a photocopy of the letter, handed it over to Police and lodged a report.
He also informed the police that he saw a suspicious looking boy standing near his house today morning when he found the letter outside his house, but a few minutes later he disappeared.
Victim is presently employed at PWD Salumber and residing in Hiran Magri, Udaipur.
