A person accused of attempted rape has been arrested by Hiran Magri police on Sunday from Sector 11, Goverdhan Villas.

As per Police, the accused Dilip aka Pappu allegedly attempted to sexually harass a minor girl on 23^rd Dec.  He tried to take advantage when the victim and her sister were alone at night and later fled away from the scene when the accused protested.

Next morning, the victim narrated everything to her mother, after which an FIR was registered against Dilip at Hiran Magri police station.

The accused Dilip was in contact with the mother of the victim from last few months.  She is a widow and stays alone at her home with two minor daughters.  On 23rd Dec accused went to the house where her two daughters were all alone and attempted to sexually harass one of the minor, said police.

Acting on information provided by a source, Police nabbed him from Sector 11, Hiran Magri.
