A case of rape was registered at Sukher police station yesterday against two accused. The victim woman presented her report to S.P explaining him the whole incidence.

The victim’s husband left her after he got to know about the mishap and even her parents didn’t support her. Presently she is staying at a shelter house, as per police.

The victim was motivated by other women at shelter to fight against the accused and to get justice.

Prem Singh of Sukher police station informed that, a case was registered against accused Devi Lal and Chetna of Meera Nagar for planning victim’s rape and Devi Lal was booked for the crime.

The incidence took place around 1.5 year back when the victim was visiting her parents. Chetna, who is her parent’s neighbor, took the victim woman to her house where Devi Lal was already present. Chetna left the house, leaving the victim alone with Devi Lal and he raped the victim, as per police.

After the mishap, the victim got pregnant. Her husband found out about the incidence, and got separated from her and even her parents didn’t support her, informed police.

She went to a shelter house, where she told her story to women staying in the shelter. They all supported her and motivated her to fight against the culprits.

Police has lodged the report and is investigating the case.
