Distressed by no police action, the minor rape victim reached District Superintendent of Police and appealed for strict action against her own grandfather for allegedly raping her on 16th June.

Goverdhan Lal, Dy S.P who is personally investigating the case said, “Statements of accused and victim are recorded and we are waiting for medical reports to come.”

Victim girl’s parents are separated and property dispute is going on between both. The accused 70-year-old grandfather is a reputed person in society and if sources to be believed, the case is more related to property dispute.

On 16^th June, victim girl’s father had lodged report against her ex wife an hour before when the report of rape was lodged against the accused grandfather.

Victim’s mother claims that the accused is not yet arrested because of his age but they will not give up till her daughter gets justice.
