Rape Victim thrown in front of Train, lost both legs

A rape victim from Chittorgarh district lost both her legs after she was allegedly thrown in front of a moving train. The incident occurred on 16th Sept near Kapasan. The woman is admitted in the trauma ward of MB Hospital, Udaipur.

 

A rape victim from Chittorgarh district lost both her legs after she was allegedly thrown in front of a moving train. The incident occurred on 16th Sept near Kapasan. The woman is admitted in the trauma ward of MB Hospital, Udaipur.

According to a local daily newspaper, the accused first abducted the victim woman and raped her near a railway crossing.  Police has arrested both the accused Narvar Singh and Kamal Singh. But the girl reported that she was allegedly threatened and pressurized for taking the report back.

Gulab Chand Kataria, BJP leader, speaking on the issue condemned the incident and said that Police should do thorough investigation of the case.

When asked, how he sees this incident after the Gang Rape in Delhi which shook the nation and provoked worldwide protest, he replied, “I cannot compare these two incidents directly.”

 The incident has shocked the region and once again raised the issue of women security.
