Recharge Cards worth Thousands stolen from a Shop at Pratap Nagar
A grocery shop was burgled off a number of mobile recharge coupons worth Rs.25-30K last night at Pratap Nagar area. Some cash recharge coupons, 2 mobile phones and some grocery items were also found missing by the shopkeeper Rupesh Jumnani
A grocery shop was burgled off a number of mobile recharge coupons worth Rs.25-30K last night at Pratap Nagar area. Some cash recharge coupons, 2 mobile phones and some grocery items were also found missing by the shopkeeper Rupesh Jumnani, resident of Pratapnagar Home Colony.
According to Jumnani, he shut down his shop at 11pm yesterday and came back the next morning at 6:30. Jumnani found his shop completely ransacked and a tin-shade roof slashed, possibly done by the thieves to enter the shop.
A number of mobile recharge cards worth more than Rs.25000, two mobile phones worth Rs.6000 and a few grocery items were found missing. Jumnani told UT that a few days back burglary attempts were reported in three shops close to his, but were foiled.
Pratap Nagar police has lodged the case and started the investigation.
