Approximately half a dozen cars parked at the New Swami Nagar, Swami Nagar and Main road at Gayrawas of Tekri area were smashed last night by unknown offenders. Specifically, windshields of all the cars have been badly damaged.

A Ford Icon, Hyundai Santro, Tata Indigo, Maruti Alto and two Maruti 800s have been damaged after the ill-behaved elements used heavy objects; perhaps stones or sticks to effect the damage.

According to the statements of the residents, the incident took place late night, as everybody after parking their vehicles, went in; and the following morning they found their vehicles damaged, especially the windshields, which were smashed.

Shripal Jain, Swami Nagar, owner of Santro; Uvish Jaiswal, Swami Nagar, owner of Maruti 800; Arun Kala, Swami Nager, owner of Icon; Jagdish Salvi, Main Road, Gayrawas; Mukesh Vaishnav, Main Road Gayrawas; Prem Vihari Mathur, Swami Nagar; were the victims of this mishap.

Residents in the nearby area saw group of bike riders early in the morning, who are being doubted to be the offenders. A complaint for the same was lodged at the Hiran Magri police station.
