Restaurant Owner Beaten by College Students

A complain has been filed at the Surajpol Police Station against four students including the President of Shramjeevi College, Udaipur on Friday 24th February by a restaurant owner for physical assault. Naveen Gupta, the owner of Mahaveer Restaurant at Town Hall link road has registered a complaint against the students of Shramjeevi College.

A complain has been filed at the Surajpol Police Station against four students including the President of Shramjeevi College, Udaipur on Friday 24th February by a restaurant owner for physical assault.

Naveen Gupta, the owner of Mahaveer Restaurant at Town Hall link road has registered a complaint against the students of Shramjeevi College.

Ajay Chaudhary, the former President and Om Pareek, presently the President of Shramjeevi College with their two friends have been charged by the owner for allegedly beating him when he asked them to clear their dues.

According to Gupta, “Ajay Choudhary and Om Pareek came to his restaurant with their two friends at about 3 pm and ordered tea. Since their dues were not clear, I refused to fulfill the order. Instead of clearing the dues they started beating me.”

While Naveen fled from the place in an attempt to protect himself, the accused started throwing out the eatables from the restaurant.

The police surveyed the scene after getting the report from the owner and has also started a search operation to grab the alleged culprits.

According to the police sources, no arrest has been done so far but the investigation is going on.
