Suspected chain snatchers have filched a 7.5 gram gold chain from an old lady, resident of Madhuban early today morning.

The victim, 72-year-old Kanak Bhandari, former secretary of Rajasthan Red Cross Society  was on a morning walk at 5:30am when the incident took place. The incident has left her in a shock.

According to the police report, Kanak Bhandari, resident of Madhubani Apartments, along with her friend Shankuntala were walking towards Sukhadia Circle. When they reached Panchwati, an auto rickshaw came close to them and the driver snatched the gold chain from Kanak Bhandari and fled away.
