Robbery attempt fails as police arrest 7 people from Sukher

Udaipur police arrested seven people from Sukher area on Monday night while they were allegedly planning to rob a petrol pump. All accused are members of the notorious Pardi Gang from Madhya Pradesh.

Udaipur police arrested seven people from Sukher area on Monday night while they were allegedly planning to rob a petrol pump. All accused are members of the notorious Pardi Gang from Madhya Pradesh.

Several weapons including swords, iron rods and a baseball bat was found from the accused. Police have started interrogation to know other possible crimes committed by the gang.

Ad S.P Rajesh Bhardwaj informed, “The accused are identified as Santosh, Anil, Sohan, Ashok, Purshottam, Chandan Singh and Om Prakash. All of them belong to MP’s Guna and Murena Districts.”

As per Ad.S.P, “Sukher Police received information about few suspects sitting inside a Tavera car and planning to rob a petrol pump. The team of cops immediately rushed to the spot and verified the information. Upon conducting inspection, police found several sharp weapons from the car and all the accused were arrested.”

During initial interrogation, police came to know that one of the accused Chandan Singh was staying in Udaipur from many years and was well aware of the city. He decided to rob Lodha Petrol Pump at Sukher and called his associates from M.P.

Police informed that all accused are habitual criminals and committed several robberies and theft in Udaipur, Kota, Indore and Delhi.
