A car parked outside Central Academy School in Sardarpura was burgled in broad day light today morning, as thieves stole Rs. 3.44 lac from the parked vehicle, when the owner was in school.

Rakesh Suhalka, resident of Sector 14, Hiran Magri parked his car outside the school and went in to get the academic result of his daughter. Suhalka left the cash in bag inside his car. When he came back, he saw the window glass was broken and the bag containing cash was missing.

Rakesh owns a wine shop in Dewali and he was about to deposit the cash in the bank. Police have started the investigations as per the information provided by Suhalka.

According to Deputy S.P Anant Kumar, the Police have got some clues which might lead them to the suspect.

“We have got a CCTV footage installed outside few shops near the place of incidence and have identified the images of a few suspects,” said Anant Kumar.

Rakesh doubted that somebody had started following him from the ATM where he went before reaching the school.
