A Rs. 5 lac robbery in broad daylight has taken place at Panchvati, near RK Mall, where a housing finance agent was looted of the cash by 3 persons on a motorbike.

Trilok Mishra s/o Prakash Chandra Mishra, 36, resident of Pratap Nagar, was on his way to his house, carrying on him a sum of 5 lac rupees, that he had withdrawn from three different bank accounts.

It was when he reached near R. Kay Mall that two men on a bike intentionally hit Trilok’s car and on the pretext of being hit, the suspects faked injury. Seeing this, Trilok came out of his Alto car. “Both of them started blaming me for the accident, though I could not understand what was going on” says Trilok.

According to the FIR, as soon as he came out to assist the boys, another biker came to the car, took out the bag carrying the cash and fled away.

Subsequently the two “injured” people conciliated and went away. Immediately, Trilok realized the disguised episode and went to look for the bag in his car, which had by then disappeared.

Trilok Mishra works as a Housing Finance Agent for L.I.C. He withdrew the money from Axis, IDBI and SBBJ banks to pay for a plot registration.

According to him, one of the men on the bike was wearing a red color striped shirt, while the other was wearing a black color t-shirt. The bike was purple in color and he didn’t notice the bikes number.

Top officers of police department including Tej Raj Singh ADSP, Dayanand Sarang, DSP and Ratan Chawla, SHO Hathipol arrived immediately to the scene and have started the investigations.
