Three people were arrested with an illicit consignment of liquor worth Rs. 50 lac seized from Bedwas Village under Pratap Nagar Police Station, last night. Police had raided the farm where the unloading of liquor boxes was going on.

According to police, after receiving information that a truck loaded with Haryana made liquor was parked in a farm belonging to a person Sadhul Singh (20) resident of Bedwas village. Pratap Nagar police team under the direction of Manjeet Singh SHO raided the farm and arrested Sadhul Singh, Madhav Singh (48) resident of Bedwas and Keshav Singh (20) resident of Bhopalpura. Three other people including, the truck driver, a spotter and a person identified as Arvind escaped in the raid.

In total, 631 boxes of liquor made in Haryana were taken into police custody; an Alto Car was also seized from the farm.

Police has started the interrogation and there are chances of unfolding many facts related to the smuggling of illegal liquor.
