A complaint for theft of around Rupees One Lac from Bajaj Sevashram’s office, Udaipur was lodged with Bhopalpura Police today. The incident that occurred last night, was discovered today morning by office employees. Two guards who were on duty at night have been detained by the police for interrogation.

“Suspected thieves allegedly opened the safe’s locker with keys.This strongly indicates involvement of an insider” says Madan Gehlot, C.I Bhopalpura Police Station.

The two guards Moin Khan and Shambhu Das have been taken in police custody for interrogation.

According to police, the theft took place in the cabin which has three security gates. All were opened by keys and after committing the crime, thieves placed the keys back at the same place.

“We still don’t know the exact amount of stolen money but it is at least One Lac”, said the police officer.
