Thieves stole Rs.2 Lac cash from an electrical appliance shop at Ghanta Ghar area. The incident occurred on the night of 2^nd April. Though it came to light next morning when the shop owner came to the shop and found the shutters broken.

According to police, the theft took place at Sagar Electricals, owned by Lalit Mehta, resident of Ahinsapuri. The shop is located at Mauli Chohta, near Badnor ki Haveli (Ghanta Ghar).

Along with stealing Rs.2 Lac from the cash counter, thieves also took all mobile phones and put it in a bag but the bag was found safe. As per police, while hurrying up, the thieves might have forgotten to take the bag with them.
