3.5 Lac rupees were stolen from a shop at Purohito ki Madri area. The incident took place on 18^th Feb but the police report was lodged today.

The victim shop owner Sangram Singh Meena informed police that since he found out about the theft, he and his family members tried to search and investigate the incident on their own. They also have doubt on a person who lives in the same area.

Sangram Singh, brother of MLA Phool Singh Meena said that the amount was kept in his shop as it was meant to be paid to someone for business purpose.

Pratap Nagar Police has started the investigation.
