A bold broad daylight incidence of theft took place near Gulab Bagh today evening, where Rs.8 Lac cash was reportedly stolen from a car’s boot space when the car was parked outside a hotel near Gulab Bagh.

The sedan car’s boot space appeared to be broken forcibly and the car owner, Shrikant Jawar lodged. a complaint at Surajpol Polcie Station about the mishap. According to Shrikant, he had kept the cash wrapped in a bedsheet and had gone into the hotel to meet a relative. When he returned back he noticed the boot to have been forcibly opened and when he investigated further, he found the money stolen. Shrikant owns a Mineral factory and resides at Ridhhi Sidhhi Complex. While half the cash was kept as a payment the other half belonged to Shrikant, as per the report. According to Shrikant, there were two guards near the place where his car was parked. The Police, after booking the report, have started their investigations.
