An incidence of daylight loot occurred today at Bank Tiraha, one of the busiest markets of Udaipur. The suspected man snatched Rs.80000 cash from the victim, minutes after he came out of the bank.

The victim Krishnachand Purohit, resident of Sunderwas informed that, he went to UCO bank today afternoon to withdraw money of pension.

After coming out of the bank, he approached towards his bike and during that, a middle aged man came close to him and snatched the plastic bag containing eighty thousand rupees. Before Purohit could respond, the accused fled away.

Purohit is retired from Agriculture Department and went to withdraw the money for her mother’s treatment.

Surajpol Police reached the spot and started investigation to identify the accused. As per SHO Ramesh Kumar, during initial investigation, a woman is also under suspicion for her involvement in the loot.
