RSEB Engineer Caught with Rs. 25,000 Bribe
Special Unit of ACB Udaipur has arrested an Assistant Engineer of Rajasthan State Electricity Board (RSEB) with Rs. 25000 bribe today. The bribe was demanded in return of escaping the penalty of overusing electricity.

Accused A.En Anil Saraswat, demanded the bribe from supervisor of an under construction residential complex at Hiran Magri sector-4.
According to ACB, on 23 April, Anil Saraswat visited the construction site and checked the consumption of temporary electricity connection. Chandrabhan Singh supervisor of the construction site alleged that the A.En threatened him for penalty because according to his observation 10 KV of electricity supply was insufficient and it should have been 20KV.
To avoid penalty, he demanded bribe of Rs. 25000 from supervisor.
Chandrabhan Singh contacted ACB and consecutively, C.I. Dinesh Sukhval, Shailendra, Nand Kishore and Shankar Lal under the supervision of Prasan Khamesra, AdSP laid the trap to catch the assistant engineer Anil Saraswat.
According to Prasan Khamesra, the A.En asked the supervisor to bring the money near BSNL office sector 3 today evening; ACB team arrested the red handed A.En while he was taking the bribe amount.
