An executive engineer of Rajasthan State Electricity Board, Rajsamand was arrested by special unit of Anti Corruption Bureau (Udaipur) for taking bribe in return of exceeding electricity supply capacity of a private company.

Shaitan Singh Rao, Ex.EN employed at RSEB was arrested today with Rs.7000 bribe, Singh was caught along with his assistant Devaram Meghwal. The action was taken after the owner of the company approached ACB Udaipur and lodged complaint against the engineer.

ACB team led by Prasann Khamesra, AD.SP Special Unit raided a place located at Village Pipada, Rajsamand. Rao was allegedly demanding money to increasing the power supply from 220KV to 280KV.

ACB recovered Rs.5000 from Shaitan Singh Rao and Rs.2000 from his assistant Devaram. Similar incident also occurred in Udaipur on 1^st May when ACB had arrested an employee of RSEB, Udaipur for Rs,25000 bribery.
