Exposing how the level of corruption is swallowing up almost every system, a reputed senior doctor of Maharana Bhopal (M.B) Hospital was arrested red handed by Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Chittorgarh for taking Rs. 500 bribe from patient’s relative.

The accused, Dr. S.K. Dangayach who is also H.O.D. of Cancer Department at M.B Hospital was arrested in his chamber after a complaint was lodged by relative of one of the cancer patients.

Another, Rs. 3.7 Lac in cash was found from doctor’s residence in the hospital compound, ACB is still to check the bank account of the doctor.

According to ACB, an applicant Shyam Sundar Suthar whose relative is a cancer patient complained that Dr. Dangayach always took money for his visits since 29^th March; the first time he took Rs. 300, in the next visit he asked for Rs. 200 and third time he asked Rs. 500.

On this, Shyam Sundar approached ACB Chittorgarh who executed the trap when Doctor took the money from Suthar.

Dr. Dangayich is a practicing since last 25 years and holds the position of H.O.D. from last five years.

ACB team on direction of Bhupendra Singh Chundawat, A.S.P laid search at Doctor’s house and found Rs. 3.70 Lac. The team will now check bank details of the doctor.
