Several students found cheating in RPSC Exam
Several people are arrested by police today for allegedly cheating while appearing in examinations of Junior Accountant Selection organized by Rajasthan Public Service Commission. Police has recovered high tech devices including micro bluetooth and jackets from the two key accused and booked them under various IT acts as well as Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair Means in Competitive Examination Act 1997.
Several people have been arrested by Police today after they were allegedly caught cheating while appearing for the Junior Accountant Selection examination organized by Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). Police has recovered high tech devices including micro-bluetooth and jackets from two key accused and booked them under various IT acts as well as Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair Means in Competitive Examination Act 1997.
Two accused were identified as Babulal Jat and Bhagirath Vishnoi of Jhalor. Following their arrest, police issued alerts in the State and raids were conducted in examination centers located in Barmer, Pali, Rajasamand and Jaipur resulting in several arrests.According to Ad.S.P Hanuman Prasad, police nabbed the duo from National Highway No.27 in a routine barricading. The accused were found with several hi-tech instrument and were heading towards Gogunda from Udaipur. Finding them suspicious police detained them and during interrogation they revealed the scam. The accused informed police that they were about to provide these instrument to some students appearing for exams to help them cheat. Moreover, they charged Rs.1.5 -4.5 Lac from each candidate.
S.P Rajendra Prasad Goyal informed that, soon after receiving the information, police team from Hiran Magri Police station led by SHO Chagan Purohit immediately reached the exam center and nabbed one student Khetram Vishnoi from Jodhpur.
The accused Babulal and Bhagirath also informed about their aide Jagdish Vishnoi who supplied the instrument to several other students all over state. Acting on the tip of, police arrested two students from Rajsamand, 2 from Pali and four other key accused were arrested by Barmer Police.
Police is trying to get more information about this statewide nexus and how many more people are involved in this.
