Two women were arrested by the Pratap Nagar police, on confirmed allegations of running a sex racket in Bohra Ganesh area near Pratap Nagar.

As per information provided by the Police, a woman belonging to Manikpur, Jaipur had arrived in Udaipur two months ago and had taken a room in Jai Shree Colony, Bohra Ganesh ji. She started an Ayurvedic Massage Parlor in this rented apartment. The Parlor was the cover under which the sex racket was mushrooming.

A day ago another woman from Jaipur joined her after arriving from Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur a back itself.

Police in the meanwhile received information today morning from the neighbors that a possible illicit activity was going on in the apartment as a lot of men kept coming to this apartment.

The police, under DySP Goverdhan Lal formed a team comprising of Pratap Nagar SHO Lalu Ram and a few constables.

An under cover Constable went as a customer to the beauty parlor and even paid Rs.5000 as fees. After verifying that there was fishy activity going on, the unxer cover Constable alerted his team, which was waiting outside the apartment.

The two ladies were arrested and a report has formally been lodged in the police station. Another of their accomplice, a male, is absconding and the Police have started the search.
