The District Special Branch of CID lodged an FIR against the management of the Hotel Raddison Blu, situated at Ambamata for hiding the identification details of at least 20 foreign tourists who had stayed at their hotel.

The Additional SP of the CID Special branch reported against the hotel management under the section 7/14 of Foreigner’s Act as well as under various sections of Registration of Foreigner’s Act.

Jitendra Anchaliya, SHO Ambamata police informed that in the report mentioned by AdSP DSB, 20 foreign tourists had stayed at Hotel Raddison Blu but identity information was not provided to the city’s foreigner’s registration office nor their C forms were submitted by the hotel management on their behalf.

SHO further added that all the 20 tourists were from various countries including China, UK, USA and Australia. He also informed that an investigation of the matter has been started.
