Stone pelting fight results in death of 18-year-old

Prakash Kalbelia died today evening at around 7 pm while being treated at M.B Hospital.  Prakash got hit when he tried to interrupt a stone fight, which involved his brother.

Last night, he rushed out of his house to save his elder brother Dinesh who was being attacked by stones. 

Three of the accused, Hamera, Sunil and Shankar were pelting stones on Dinesh, when the argument on advance wages turned ugly, informed police.

According to police, Dinesh, the elder brother of the deceased is a contractor by profession and all the three accused worked as labor under him.

The previous night, the trio came to Dinesh’s house at Salera Fala, Dabok and asked him for advance wages.  When Dinesh refused, they started stone pelting.  On learning of the altercation, Prakash came out of his house to protect his brother and at that moment he got hit by the stones and sustained severe head injuries.

The accused fled away from the scene while Prakash was immediatelty rushed to M.B Hospital and was admitted there for treatment.

Today at around 7 pm Prakash died during treatment and the Dabok police has registered a case of murder against the three attackers.

A team of Dabok police has also gone to Kankroli to search for the accused as they were also simultaneously working at a construction sight at Kakroli, informed the police.
