A female student from Uttar Pradesh was cheated by two people who took Rs.2.5 Lac from her and promised to get admission in a respected medical college of Udaipur.

A female student from Uttar Pradesh was cheated by two people who took Rs.2.5 Lac from her and promised to get admission in a respected medical college of Udaipur.

Victim Gitanjali Verma, resident of Baliya Udaipur registered the case of fraud against two people Vicky alias Roop Singh and Sanjeev Sharma. Police started search operation for the absconding accused.

According to the report lodged by the student, she came in contact with one of the accused through a text message she received on her mobile phone. The message was regarding admission in medical college.

After calling on the same number, one of the accused asked her to come to Udaipur. Verma reached Udaipur and met the duo in a hotel. On 13th Aug she again met both of them outside the college where both accused demanded money and insisted her not to go inside the college campus.

Trusting both, the victim gave them Rs.2.5 Lac but soon she realized the fraud. She immediately rushed to police station and lodged FIR against the duo accused.
