Sharing the double sleeper in a bus with a stranger, priced a student originally from Ahmadabad with his valuables and cash. The incident took place last night when Abhishek Singh (20) was travelling in a private bus to Udaipur from Ahmadabad.

The victim was allegedly forced to drink cold drink mixed with suspicious substance, which made him fall unconscious.

According to police, Abhishek was travelling in a double sleeper shared with a suspect. When the bus stopped at a ‘dhaba’ en route Ahmadabad-Udaipur highway, the suspect brought cold drink and offered Abhishek, initially he refused to drink, but when forced he took 2-3 sips and eventually fell asleep.

Abhishek told police that he woke up only after reaching Udaipur and saw his belongings, which included two bags, one containing laptop and other clothes and Rs.40,000 cash were missing with the suspect boy, who was sharing the sleeper with him.

Abhishek lodged the complaint with Surajpol Police Station.
