Mahendra Singh Choudhary who survived the suicide attempt on Saturday 26th Oct has been booked under the charges of Murder, Provoking to Suicide and Destroying of Evidences. Choudhary allegedly killed his wife and three children by giving them poisonous substance.

Mahendra Singh Choudhary who survived the suicide attempt on Saturday 26th Oct has been booked under the charges of Murder, Provoking to Suicide and Destroying of Evidences. Choudhary allegedly killed his wife and three children by giving them poisonous substance.

The complaint was lodged by Harikaran Jat, resident of Ajmer and father in law of Choudhary.

On 26th Oct, Mahendra Singh made his family consume poison and at last he also had it, then he drove from Beawer to Udaipur. While reaching Chirwa Valley, Choudhary crashed the car with boundary wall and plunged into the valley.

By the time of accident, Choudhary’s wife Priyanka and three children Purva, Vishal and Sagar were reportedly dead while Mahendra went unconscious and was admitted in hospital.

Mahendra informed police that he was in heavy financial debt; hence, he decided to end his own and family’s life.

Before taking the step he also informed his brother in Beawer. According to the police, Choudhary intentionally created road accident to destroy all evidences but he survived as the car didn’t fall too deep.

Sukher police has booked the accused under sections 302, 309 and 201 IPC.
