Making headways into the Sunil Shetty fraud case, Naresh Kumar, a Police constable from Hiran Magri Police station was sent to Mumbai yesterday with a notice to be served to Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty and his Personal Assistant Asif. 

The constable will go to Sunil and will hand over the notice in relation to a compliant of fraud of Rs 21 lacs registered against him and his assistant by a local film producer.

Dy SP, Goverdhan Lal said that Sunil and his assistant Asif have been asked to report in Udaipur so that further investigation into the matter can be conducted.

Dy SP added that if the interrogation proved that Sunil had actually cheated the applicant, Hemendra Singh Solanki, and if he refused to repay the said amount, then Sunil and his assistant can even be taken into custody.
