In a case of theft reported last night of Dec. 31st, the suspected thief stole Rs. 1.25 lac cash after breaking the seat lock of a scooterette. Police complaint has been lodged and search for thief has been initiated.

Sunder lal Bhardwaj, resident of Sector .5 Hiran Magri was carrying Rs. 1.25 lac cash with him that were kept under the seat of his Scooty he was riding; Bhardwaj was going towards the Jewelry market to purchase some ornaments, as he reached at the Mukherji chowk he stopped and went to a public toilet. When he returned he found that the seat of his Scooty lied unlocked and the cash under the seat was missing.

Sunder lal immediately rushed to the Dhan Mandi police station and registered a case against the suspected thieves.

Police has started investigating on the basis of the complaint of the victim.
