Udaipur District Court has sent Sylvester alias Dipu, prime accused of firing on a local businessman and one of the witnesses in Soharubuddin Encounter Case on police remand till 28^th August.

Sylvester (right side in photo above) was arrested by Bhopalpura police. Soon he surrendered himself before court few days back.

According to SHO Bhopalpura police Chandmal, ”During remand, police will interrogate him about the incident and also try to recover the weapon used during the attack.”

Sylvester along with his aide opened fire on a local businessman Vimal Bhatnagar, resident of P Road Bhopalpura in the early hours of 27^th January 2014. Bhatanagar escaped the attack.

Soon after the incident, Sylvester fled away and was absconding.
