Body of a taxi driver was found lying on the roadside of Highway at Menar. Prima facie it is considered as murder as multiple injuries were found on the victim’s body.

The deceased is identified as Sandeep Patel, resident of Naroda, Ahmedabad who was a taxi driver. He left his house on 20^th May with some passengers but nobody knows who were they and where they went with Sandeep.

A passerby informed Kheroda Police after seeing the dead body on the roadside. There were several injury marks on victim’s face and his ribs were also broken.

According to police, “Prima facie it looks like somebody killed the victim and dumped his body on the roadside.”

Police has started searching the accused and CCTV recordings of all toll plazas are also examined. The body of the victim is shifted to the mortuary and relatives are informed.
