Taxi drivers of Udaipur have protested against a policeman who allegedly misbehaved and assaulted a taxi driver yesterday. The drivers demanded action against the accused policeman.

Taxi drivers of Udaipur have protested against a policeman who allegedly misbehaved and assaulted a taxi driver yesterday. The drivers demanded action against the accused policeman.

According to the protestors, the driver Shambhu Audichya was stopped by a policeman near Gulab Bagh and demanded Rs.200 for using mobile phone while driving. However Shambhu said that he wasn’t using the phone and was assaulted by the policeman.

The identity of policeman is not known yet. Today around 50 taxi drivers protested outside Surajpol Police Station.
