A 44 year old school teacher was found dead at Tekri, near the Police Lines after allegedly being hit by an unknown vehicle last night. The body was identified by the victim’s relatives today morning as Lal Singh, resident of Singhatwara, Zawar Mines.

According to the police, Lal Singh died after being smashed by an unidentified vehicle when he was returning back to his house at Singhatwara near Zawar Mines after attending a wedding ceremony.

There were major head injuries and the body was kept at the mortuary, said the police.

“Initially we are considering it a Hit-and-run case and a report has been lodged against an unidentified motorist”, said the Officer in-charge.
