Teenage Servant escapes over Continuous violence, approaches Anti Human traffic

In what can be called an action against exploitation, a 14-year-old boy, a victim of child labor approached the Anti Human Trafficking unit yesterday evening and blamed his employer for allegedly torturing him at work.

Mahadev Prasad, resident of U.P. used to work in ‘Salumbar house’ at Saheli Nagar; the house is owned by Dev Raj Singh.

Yesterday, Mahadev escaped from the house and rushed to the Anti Human Trafficking unit situated at Police Lines, Tekri.  The officials of the department registered a case against Dev Raj Singh under the Child Labor Act at Ambamata police station and the boy has been sent to the hostel of the Department subsequent to his medical check-up.

According to the sources, the boy was allegedly beaten and suffered frequent tortures at work.
